Respect First
Every stage—from collection and transport to inspection, secure storage and final handling—is carried out with respect.
The purpose of QP Network is to keep Mushafs in respectful use for as long as reasonably possible and to create a safe route when a copy is worn or damaged.
A clear collection and preservation pathway reduces uncertainty and helps families and institutions act before unsuitable disposal or storage occurs.
The challenge is not only damage; it is also the absence of a clear preservation pathway for what should happen next. Qur’an Preservation Network is designed as a lasting response to that gap.
Every stage—from collection and transport to inspection, secure storage and final handling—is carried out with respect.
Qur’anic material found in waste or impure surroundings is promptly separated, cleaned as required and moved into the approved preservation process.
A Mushaf is not classified as unusable merely by looking at its cover; its actual condition is carefully assessed.
Where damaged covers, deteriorated pages or other defects can reasonably be repaired, the possibility of restoration is assessed.
Mushafs returned to usable condition are made available to individuals or institutions that need them.
Qur’anic material for which no practical preservation option remains is moved to the approved final-handling stage in accordance with Shariah guidance.
Only when no other preservation option is practical is the material moved into the approved final-handling process.
Repairs such as replacing covers, rebinding and reinforcing deteriorated pages are carried out with full respect and cleanliness, while preserving textual accuracy and page order.
First consider the possibilities of repair, restoration, reuse and redistribution.
Respectful handling, preservation first, condition-based assessment, safe storage, documented movement and authorised decision-making are central to the system.
The aim is to ensure that usable sacred Mushafs are not left unused but reach genuine recipients. After careful inspection, Qur’an copies in good condition are distributed in an orderly way to eligible families, Masjids, Madrasas and learning centres according to actual need.
Distribution is organised based not merely on quantity, but also on the condition of each Mushaf and the genuine need of the recipient.
Where direct delivery to a Collection Point is not practical, doorstep collection may be used.
Collection is coordinated using the unique reference number generated after successful submission and according to service availability in the area.
Matters including final handling are carried out only in accordance with Shariah-approved guidance and procedures.
Find a verified Collection Point, request pickup where available, or contact QP Network for guidance.
