Collection request / direct handover
A Mushaf may be handed over at a QPN collection point, or where that is not practical, a doorstep collection request may be submitted.
QP Network follows a preservation-first approach: safe collection, condition assessment, repair or restoration where practical, redistribution when suitable, and authorised final handling only where no appropriate preservation path remains.
Each Mushaf should be assessed for usability, completeness, repairability, contamination and suitability for redistribution before the next stage is chosen.
QPN follows approved Shariah-based operating procedures. Qur’anic material recovered from impure conditions must undergo the required purification process before final handling.
A Mushaf may be handed over at a QPN collection point, or where that is not practical, a doorstep collection request may be submitted.
Whole or partial Qur’anic material received at collection points is stored safely so that it is not exposed to further contamination.
Collected Qur’anic or related sacred-text material is examined and classified so that the appropriate next step can be determined.
Where recoverable damage exists—such as binding, cover or deteriorated-page issues—the practicality of repair and restoration is assessed.
Usable copies may be provided, with appropriate verification, to individuals, families, Masjids, Madrasas or institutions that need them.
Qur’anic material for which no practical preservation option remains is moved to the approved final-handling stage in accordance with Shariah guidance.
Collection, classification, restoration, redistribution, final handling and other operational stages are documented accurately.
Handle every Mushaf respectfully through collection, transport, secure storage and inspection.
First consider the possibilities of repair, restoration, reuse and redistribution.
Collection or pickup; safe receiving and temporary storage; inspection and classification; repair or restoration review; reuse or redistribution; authorised final-handling review; and documentation for accountability.
The main responsibilities of a Collection Point are to receive material respectfully and safely, record the required basic information, provide secure temporary storage and coordinate authorised transfer in accordance with QP Network procedures.
Collected Qur’anic material must not be discarded, burned or subjected to independent final-handling decisions. Such actions must follow QPN-approved procedures.
The doorstep collection form can be used to provide the address, GPS location, district, approximate quantity and condition. A successful submission generates a request number.
Doorstep collection depends on accurate GPS/location details, volunteer availability and collection capacity.
Every QP Network operating stage is structured around Shariah standards. Complete Mushafs, loose or partial pages, and any material containing Qur’anic verses are received and handled in a manner intended to preserve their sanctity and respect.
Use a verified Collection Point where available, or submit a Pickup Request where the service is active.
