QP Network — Basics
1. What is QP Network?
QP Network is a preservation-first network being developed to receive old, damaged or unused Mushafs safely, inspect their condition, preserve recoverable copies and return suitable copies to beneficial use.
2. What is the main objective of QP Network?
The main objective is to preserve as many Mushafs as possible, restore recoverable copies, redistribute suitable surplus copies, and reserve authorised final handling only for copies for which no practical preservation path remains.
3. Is QP Network simply a disposal service?
No. Preservation comes first. Final handling is a last-stage option, not the starting point.
Old or Damaged Mushafs
4. I have an old Mushaf at home. What should I do?
Do not place it in ordinary waste. Keep it separately in a clean and safe place. Check for a verified Collection Point nearby; if none is available and pickup service is active in your area, you may submit a pickup request.
5. Does a damaged cover make a Mushaf unusable?
Not necessarily. Damage to the cover, binding or a limited number of pages may be repairable. The appropriate category should be decided after inspection.
6. Can I hand over a water-damaged Mushaf?
Yes. If it is wet, damp or contaminated, keep it separated from other copies as safely as possible and mention its condition in the pickup notes or when handing it over.
7. Will a Mushaf with torn pages be repaired?
That depends on the extent of damage, completeness of the pages, readability and whether restoration is practical. If repair is viable, preservation should be prioritised.
Pickup Requests
8. How do I request pickup?

9. Does submitting a pickup request guarantee immediate collection?
No. You will receive a Request ID after successful submission. Availability depends on location, quantity, route planning and volunteer or vehicle capacity.
10. Why do I receive a Request ID?
The Request ID helps identify your submission and makes operational follow-up easier. Example: QP-20260821-XXXXXX.
11. Is GPS location mandatory?
No. GPS is optional. If you allow browser location access, coordinates can be added. A clear address, locality, district and PIN code remain important.
12. Is pickup free?
QP Network does not intend to make access to preservation conditional on a donation. Operational details may be updated as the service model, coverage and logistics framework develop.
Collection Points
13. How do I find the nearest Collection Point?
Find Collection Point page . Do not treat an unverified address as an official QP Collection Point.
14. Can my masjid or madrasa become a Collection Point?
Potentially, yes. Basic requirements may include safe temporary storage, a responsible contact person, compliance with the approved SOP and an authorised handover process. See the Community page .
15. Can a Collection Point independently dispose of received Mushafs?
No. Its role is safe receiving, temporary storage, basic documentation and authorised handover. Sensitive final handling should not be carried out independently.
Inspection, Restoration & Redistribution
16. Are all collected Mushafs handled in the same way?
No. Copies are assessed according to condition and may be classified as usable, repairable or restorable, suitable for redistribution, requiring further review, or irrecoverable.
17. Can a restored Mushaf be used again?
Yes, if restoration is completed successfully and the copy is confirmed to be suitable for use.
18. What is redistribution?
Redistribution means placing suitable surplus Mushafs back into beneficial use with individuals, masjids, madrasas or institutions that need them.
