A permanent preservation system so that no Mushaf becomes waste through neglect.
QP Network exists to create a clear, accessible and responsible route for worn, damaged or unused Mushafs.
Prevent Mushafs from entering ordinary waste because of lack of knowledge, neglect or lack of accessible facilities.
Every Muslim, family and institution should know where a Mushaf can be handed over safely and what responsible next steps are available.
Build verified collection channels and pickup support where operationally available.
Move Mushafs into a safe collection network before they enter the waste stream.
QP Network is developing a system that receives Mushafs safely through approved Collection Points, community partners, Masjids, Madrasas, institutions and doorstep collection where available.
The main purpose is to remove uncertainty about where to hand over old Mushafs and reduce the risk of accidental mixing with old books, paper waste or other waste.
Keep every usable Mushaf in beneficial use for as long as reasonably possible.
The first priority is to keep Mushafs in good condition in use. Copies set aside because of minor binding damage, cover damage or limited page damage should, where practical, be repaired and restored to usable condition.
A Mushaf should not be treated as unusable merely because it is damaged; the first question is whether it can still be preserved.
Return surplus Mushafs in good condition to people and institutions that need them.
Some households and institutions may have good Mushafs that are no longer being used while other places may have genuine need. QP Network aims to connect these two through a responsible redistribution network.
By returning suitable Mushafs to use through individuals, Masjids, Madrasas and learning centres that need them, preservation gains practical meaning.
Final handling of unusable Mushafs should take place only in accordance with approved religious guidance.
When a Mushaf cannot be repaired or returned to use, further handling should not be based on personal opinion.
QP Network aims to preserve respect at every stage through qualified scholarly guidance, approved operating procedures, authorised handling methods, volunteer training and periodic review.
Every family should have a clear answer to the question: “What should we do when a Mushaf becomes old?”
We will provide simple, clear guidance on how to store Mushafs when they age, tear, suffer water damage or remain unused; where they should be handed over; and what should be avoided.
The aim is to carry this message to more families and regions through Masjids, Madrasas, community organisations, volunteers and digital platforms.
Make Qur’an preservation a shared responsibility recognised by every Muslim.
QP Network is not intended to be a system operated by one central organisation alone. The goal is a community-based network connecting Masjids, Madrasas, families, institutions, religious scholars, volunteers and supporters.
Local collection points, trained volunteers, district-level coordination and institutional partnerships can make this responsibility practical in every region.
Build community confidence in collection, repair, redistribution, final handling and operating expenditure.
Mushafs entrusted to QP Network, along with financial and voluntary support received, must be handled responsibly.
As operations grow, the aim is to make collection figures, restoration, redistribution, geographic reach, operating costs and outcome reports transparently documented and available.
Build a reliable Qur’an preservation network that is easily accessible in every region.
The long-term goal is to bring collection-point search, doorstep collection requests, the volunteer network, repair and restoration support, redistribution, digital tracking, Shariah oversight and transparency reporting into one integrated system.
The operational model developed in Kerala is designed so that, based on experience and need, it can later be expanded gradually to other regions and languages.
Every responsible action matters.
From preserving one Mushaf to helping an entire community understand the correct handover route, every contribution strengthens the mission.
